Description |
Four cows and three goats being herded across the river by a boat with a stick. A man and a child are on a horse which is in the river also. A man is fishing nearby, and a horse drawn cart loaded with logs stands on the road. There is a wooden bridge in the backgorund. Large green trees and a peaceful sky complete the picture. Printmaking, color lithograph, ink and color on paper. Produced by 19th-early 20th century American printing firm, Currier and Ives between 1834-1907. |
