Abstraction on linen depicting three circular shapes in red, yellow, and blue. Additional paint is in the background of the circles. Linen is hinged to black board resting in wooden frame. Signed, dated, and personalized message to the donor on verso, "For Monroe with respect, gratitude and love". Paper stapled to back of frame including a poem, "There is no greater turbulence than unhappy love. It's one we may never recover from. It's not cured by hypocrisy, or courage. A true love has nothing in it of power, and nothing of faithfulness. Rumi" |
