Description |
Vessel in form of a seated jaguar. Unburnished surface with overall gray/white stucco-like deposits. Upper left fang and tongue missing. Pre-Columbian, Mesoamerican, Zapotec culture. Mesoamerica, Oaxaca, Mexico. 100-200 C.E. Obejct record appraisal description states, "Vessel in the form of a seated jaguar with head held alertly up, open mouth, prominent teeth, ears held up and protruding eyes.
