Description |
Elephant modeled, facing forward and standing four-square on a shaped angular base, bearing on its back a round central dish. Flanked by six cylindrical receptacles all set on a relief - molded saddle. Covered over all with a cream glaze suffused with a dense crackle, some traces of red pigment. Sui dynasty, 581- 618 C.E. |
