Description |
Wooden mask represents a woman. She has a pointed chin, triangular face with triple vertical lines defining the edge of the face. The nose has a sharp pointed end, the mouth has carefully been defined with protruding lips, the eyes are cut out and are small circles closed to each other. Marka culture ceremonial mask carved in the Katiena region, Mali, Africa. The color is deep brown. On the surface there are nicks, scrapes, etc. |
