Description |
A Week in Times series, 2020 (2) purple colored acrylic rectangles (4.0625 x 7.3750 in. each) stacked on top of eachother on paper like material (polyester resin film) that is translucent and archival. Painting is positioned center-left and towards the top of the sheet. The paintings are the size of The New York Times front page (22 x 12 inches). Each day, one photo from the paper was redacted with a beautiful color field of paint, matching a color other than blue, sampled from the sky. The caption is handwritten in graphite below painting. |
