Description |
Wooden door lock that has a horizontal cross bar and a vertical sword shape piece that goes right through the middle. The color of the piece is deep brown. On the surface of the lock there are patterns carved into the wood giving it texture. There is a large X carved in the middle of the piece. Early to mid 20th century Bamana door lock in the form of a figure from the Bougouni region, Mali, Africa. |
